Superimpose for windows phone is an application meant for text overlay over photos and images. It has some social networking capabilities too which makes it very powerful tool for content sharing. The lite version of the application is is available here The pro version costs 0.99 cents and is available here There is no much difference between pro and lite versions. In pro version you can avoid the advertisements. The application allows you to either take a photo thru your mobile phone camera or you could use any of the images stored within the phone.

You can use the configure the text to be applied on the picture. You can control the exact location where you want to place the text within the image. You can also control the style of the text to be displayed. You can choose color , opacity of the text, size of the text.

Once you had configured the text, you could see the preview of the picture with the overlayed text. If you are not satisified with the preview you can go back by pressing back button and reconfiguring the text.

Now you can post the image to facebook if you want to post it to facebook. This is extremely useful because you can ensure that your comment is part of the photo you had taken. So you can rest ensure that your comments will be a part of the photo, regardless of how many times the photo got shared in facebook. It was interesting to see some of my photos getting shared back to be in facebook by my friends. I could readily tell that the origniation point was my phone for those photos since I could clearly see my comments. Also its good to add watermark for photos.
